Kristin helped me reconnect with parts of myself I had forgotten were even there. For the first time in years, I feel calm inside my body and mind. This work is deep, gentle, and powerful beyond words. Her nature is so warm and comforting to begin with but when my emotions started to rise, I really felt her power. She could hold me and I never felt out of control or too much. What normally would scare me instead felt freeing because she had me every step of the way. I went to see Kristin because I was having trouble sleeping and my anxiety was taking over everything that I did. After three somatic alignment sessions I was consistently sleeping through the night and felt more like myself than I have in years. She explained to me about how nervous systems work and made sure that i was comfortable with everything we did. She gave me exercises to do when I started to feel anxious and it completely changed how I saw myself. This was the most complete experience I have had working with someone and I will be back in the future.
This isn’t coaching. It’s life changing. Kristin’s work helped me regain control over my own body again, something I didn’t even realize I had lost. I was curious after a friend told me about somatic alignment and how Kristin had helped her but I never expected to feel so good afterwards. Working with Kristin was the first time I felt like my body was listened to, not pushed. I didn’t realize how much I was holding until I finally stopped to breathe. I initially went because I was having lower back pain. Within 5 minutes of starting my first session, I knew that this would be very different to any physio or massage therapist that I had been to before. She asked the questions that made me feel understood and it was like she saw me as a whole person not just an injury to treat. My pain was 50% better after the first session and gone by the 3rd session. She also gave me exercises to help and keep me on the right track.
I was sceptical when I heard about somatic alignment. My wife had gone to Kristin and was pushing me to try. After the first session, I couldnt wait to go back the next week. I don't remember the last time I felt so relaxed and instead of wearing off, the feeling gets better over the next days. It is easier to get out of bed in the mornings, I am quicker and more focused in work and generally, I am just happier. Thanks Kristin!
